Assistive technology can help students with learning disabilities to reach their educational goals.   With the use of assistive technology devices students with learning disabilities significantly enhance their capability in reading, writing, taking class notes and taking exams.  The scan and read application help students comprehend the reading materials faster and better.  Speech recognition application enhances a student’s ability to compose paper and reports.  A variety of portable E-text readers allow the students to read and listen to the textbooks flexibly.  The pen with digital recording capability helps students take complete class notes and review them very efficiently.  There are more and more AT innovations that can improve the learning process for students with learning disabilities.  In the past 20 years, Ohio Job Connection helped hundreds of college students with disabilities in almost all state universities and colleges in Ohio achieve their educational goals.
